Game CoLab Pops Up at Play It Forward!

Bringing more play to the Manitoba Children’s Museum’s Auction Gala.

How do you add more play to one of Winnipeg's most playful places? You bring it right to the table.

Pop CoLab teamed up with the Manitoba Children’s Museum to create a custom Game CoLab experience for its Play It Forward Gala. The goal was simple: help guests connect, have fun and play together.

A game made for the occasion

 Game CoLab is our new team experience where your group creates its own prompts and builds a tabletop game together.

For the gala, we gave it a museum-inspired twist. Working with the museum team, we developed ready-to-play prompts and custom packaging, giving every table a game to explore throughout the evening.

Guests could also take our play quiz to discover their play style, a fun way to explore what lights them up and how others like to join in.

The game was a hit, but our favourite part was watching people laugh, connect and enjoy something we had created together.

Thank you to the Manitoba Children’s Museum for inviting us to be part of a night that celebrates the power of play.

A Fitting Host. A Personal Inspiration.

The evening was hosted by Ace Burpee, which made it especially meaningful. Ace is a big part of the inspiration behind Pop CoLab.
