The Experience
Reconnect to our Filipino ancestry through the preservation, practice and sharing of baybayin with an engaging workshop
Join us for a series of interactive workshops where you can learn about the beautiful ancient script of Baybayin. This workshop allows you to practice whether you're a beginner or already familiar with the script- these workshops are for anyone interested in Filipino culture and history.
The workshop will cover the basics of Baybayin, including history, forming words, writing, and reading Baybayin with guidance from our experienced instructor. You’ll leave the workshop with a take-home reusable baybayin practice mat and a piece of baybayin art you made yourself!
