Welcome to the Pop CoLab Glass Painting Workshop, a vibrant, hands-on creative session where everyday glassware transforms into a personalized piece of art! Guided by artist and facilitator Goldie from The Bridge Idea, you’ll learn techniques for painting on glass and walk away with a masterpiece that’s not just pretty, but something you can actually sip from and enjoy.

No experience required!
Each participant will receive a piece of glassware depending on the kind of workshop you chose: a wine glass, a mug, a tumbler, a mason jar, even a candle holder (you name it!) along with high-quality glass paints and brushes. Whether you choose bold patterns, delicate florals, or abstract designs, your creation will be a one-of-a-kind reflection of YOU.
Learn + Create
Goldie will guide you step by step, offering creative prompts and techniques to spark inspiration. You’ll experiment with layering colours, blending, and sealing your design for durability. At the end of the session, you’ll leave with a ready-to-use piece that reflects your personality.
Mugged Up Collaboration
Collaborate on a shared mug design that captures your team’s creativity, then take home your own personalized copy. Add your name or word of choice for a unique touch.

Format
Pricing
Starting at $44/person, plus base fee.
Private group bookings include a $75/hour base fee, which covers planning support, facility use, equipment, and a dedicated Pop CoLab Experience Host.
(The base fee applies only once per session, regardless of how many experiences you book, and does not apply to drop-in or ticketed workshops.)
Guided Workshop (Live with Goldie)
Best for team-building sessions, conferences, and special events.
Drop-In or Pop-Up Style
Works beautifully at fairs, festivals, or networking mixers where participants can paint at their own pace.
Can we choose a theme, or do we have to paint what the facilitator presents?
You’re free to paint whatever inspires you! The facilitator will be there to show you and guide you with tips and techniques, but the design is all yours.
What kind of paint will be used?
We use an acrylic enamel paint or a multi-surface acrylic specifically designed for glass, as these provide better adhesion and durability.
After painting, will the glasses be dishwasher safe or should they be washed by hand only? For optimal longevity and to avoid potential You will get tips on how to "curate" your piece at home so your artwork will stay bright and beautiful. For best results, treat your piece with love. Hand-wash gently with mild soap and cool or lukewarm water is recommended.
Will participants need to bring an apron or smock? No, we have smocks, but if you have one you love to use for your creativity, feel free to get it!
Will participants be taking the wine glasses home with them, or do they need to dry or set them? Yes, you will take home your masterpieces at the end of the event, along with care instructions on how to properly care for your piece.
