About the Workshop
Guided Painting With r\Red River Métis Artist, Perry Holmes
Participants will be guided through a painting session where they learn basic techniques and creative expression in a relaxed, social setting. Using brushes, paints, and tools, attendees will create their own artwork to take home. A unique overhead mirror setup may be used to enhance visibility of brush strokes, making learning easier for everyone.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and groups looking for an interactive, hands-on experience.
Materials Provided:
Acrylic paints in a variety of colors
Paintbrushes in multiple sizes
High-quality paper and painting trays
Pencils and erasers for sketching
Overhead mirror system (pending) to improve visibility of painting techniques

About the Host
Perry Holmes is a Winnipeg born artist. After many years as a Data Technician, he chose to pursue art full time. His Métis heritage from his mother’s side in Elie, Manitoba has always been a source of pride and inspiration that is reflected in his artwork. His circle of friends continues to grow as he paints poignant images from peoples lives.
